Modern and sophisticated, this energy efficient home boasts six bedrooms, four bathrooms, three powder rooms with a minimal inspired style and privacy from every angle. A new build with raw textures and a soft neutral palette to create warmth and a clean space. The design of this house was based around the lifestyle we wanted for our three girls. A space they would want to be. A space where their friends would want to be. A space they could enjoy with family right through to adulthood and maybe even bring their families back to. Every finish was chosen to ensure a timeless outcome while ensuring the keeping of the house was easy.

A little cottage that opened up to the kitchen on the left and lounge on the right with the three beds and bathroom to the back. We instantly saw how we could rejig this house, add an extension at the back and enhance the beach side shack to a large family home.

We were inspired by seaside living with this project. Wanting to create a sense of calm and relaxation with a paired back palette that drew on the natural elements of the area. In all of our projects a timeless finish is at the top of our list when choosing finishes. We don’t want to see something date as soon as we’ve finished and we go into each project like we were going to stay there forever so money is spent in the right areas even if we are dealing with a tight budget.
With two living, large master suite, second ensuited bedroom and three large bedrooms, this house creates enough space for dual living arrangements, teens, a young family or working from home. A perfect family home or holiday residence.

A large block with two little bungalows we walked in and could see the potential past the scrub and the deck that wasn’t safe to be walked on.
This project we didn’t want to change the footprint of the house, just improve it which keeps the costs down as well as the timeline.

We flipped the living and kitchen for a better configuration, spaced the bedrooms and bathrooms better and allowed for an ensuite off the master. Fixed up the two bungalows and connected them to the house with an additional deck so now there is one out the back and the front. Under the front deck we added in a two car garage. The biggest part of this job was cleaning up the yard, 20 skips later the land is usable.
This is the perfect little holiday rental for multiple families.

What started a dream to be our tiny little beach shack that we were going to renovate as our holiday ended up being the space we moved into for a sea change back in 2015. We moved in like this with three little kids, one crawling while we waited for plans and permits to be approved. Living around kids in a renovation test you but it also make you see the space form another way and enhance it when you notice something isn’t going to work.

The standard little beach house with three bed, one bath that you will find on every street of the Southern Peninsula.
This was our quickest flip yet. Three months from start to finish with a cosmetic makeover only. No internal walls moved this time round.
